Analysis of bubbles’ content

Gas bubbles depict a critical quality state. If the gas composition is known, suitable technological measures for avoiding bubbles can be introduced.

Under ultrahigh vacuum the bubbles are opened, the components of the gas are exhausted and transported to a mass spectrometer. The quantitative analysis is possible for 16 previously calibrated gas components. Besides further gas components can be quantitatively defined.

(Samples: respectively occurrence, minimum size of the bubble circa 0,2 mm)
