The DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) is like DTA a procedure for determination of thermic characteristics of solid bodies.
In contrast to DTA the absorbed and released amount of heat can be directly determined by measuring. So temperature of transformation, heat of transformation of the solid bodies and the heat capacity can be ascertained simultaneously.
